2009 is set to be a wonderful year for the Lille Christmas market. Full of Gallic charm, the Lille Xmas market is popular with Brits due to its Eurostar links. The festive French fair takes place in Lille’s Place Rihour, with stalls selling all manner of Christmas crafts and delicious local cuisine.

Happening this year from 18th November – 30th December 2009, the Lille Xmas market is a truly festive event with its cheerful lights and stalls and child-themed theatre and games. Father Christmas, or Pere Noel as the locals call him, is also on hand to have pictures with.
